Course Description:
The course will comprehensively cover all competencies required for the SIA Licence to Practice
and also provide an invaluable insight from our experienced instructors relating to the role of a Close Protection Operative.
Instructors:
Our instructors are all qualified and experienced professionals, skilled in the subjects
they teach and qualified and licensed in close protection. Amongst our instructors are experienced
and currently operational Close Protection Operatives from Hostile environment, Military and
Executive Close Protection sectors.
Support:
There will be a CP qualified course manager on site 24 hours to assist with information,
advice and support for evening study or course matters in general.
Course Duration:
This course is run on a modular basis over six weekends with online support in between sessions.
First Aid:
First Aid: You will need a recognised First Aid certificate to apply for your CP SIA Licence. If you do
not have this already we can make arrangements to provide this course during your time with us.
Additional Info:
Candidates will be required to obtain a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence on successful
completion of the module.
**Please note that the SIA will charge for the licence application and this is not included in the cost of the course**
